If your state of residence does not levy sales tax, but your order is shipped to a taxable state, a tax calculation may still appear on your order. Changes in tax regulations between the time of order and credit card charge may lead to discrepancies between the displayed and actual tax. Your invoice will show the final tax amount (state and local taxes).
State tax rates consist of a base tax rate and mandatory local tax rates, which are directly remitted to city and county tax authorities. Total rates may vary depending on the municipality.
As a tax-exempt entity or reseller, you can request a tax exemption for TheTopmark orders here. Send the completed form for review to service@thetopmark.com.
3. Shipping Destinations
- Shipping only within the USA (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Guam).
- No shipping to FPO, APO, or PO Box addresses.
4. Shipping Methods
Orders are shipped via reputable service providers such as UPS, USPS, or FedEx. Depending on location, product type, and requirements, other reliable national and regional partners may also be used to ensure efficient delivery.
5. Shipping Times and Delivery Date
Available items are shipped promptly. Typically, shipping occurs on the same or next business day. If available, shipping is expected on the following business day. All times refer to business days.
For credit card payments, the charge is made within 24 hours. Shipping usually occurs on the next business day after payment is received. For multiple items and different delivery addresses, the order may be split into partial deliveries. Delivery time is usually 3-5 business days, depending on the recipient's address and the service provider.
If an order has not been shipped more than 8 business days after the shipping label was created, you can cancel the order or request a partial refund. Details can be found in our return policy.
Force majeure may lead to delays. In favorable weather conditions, the fastest possible processing is ensured.
TheTopmark takes all reasonable precautions to prevent transport damage. Should damage occur during transport, please report it within 3 business days of receipt in "My Orders" and request a refund or return. Document visible (scratches, dents) or functional damage with photos to expedite processing.
6. Tracking Shipments
After each order, you will receive at least two emails:
- An order confirmation with all details immediately after placing the order.
- A shipping confirmation after the goods have been shipped, including order number, service provider, order date and time, status, and tracking number.
You can check the exact location on the respective service provider's website. Our online status system is available 24/7. Log in with your TheTopmark account to get current status information and an overview of past orders under "Track Order."
7. Important Notes
- Carefully check the delivery address before payment, as shipping will be to the address provided.
- For returns due to unexpected product quality or incorrect orders after shipment, TheTopmark will not cover shipping costs.
- Items under 150 lbs will be shipped via UPS; items over 150 lbs via freight carrier.
